ThailandLocatedapproximately 862 kilometers south of Bangkok is Phuket, Thailand’s largest island,which is often dubbed the pearl of the Andaman Sea, or the pearl of the south.Its natural resources - rocky peninsular, limestone cliffs, white powdery beaches,tranquil broad bays and tropical in-land forests -contribute to making it theSouth’s wealthiest, busiest, most visited and most popular island and province.

 

Nestled inthe tropical zone off the west coast of the southern part of Thailand in the AndamanSea and the Indian Ocean, the province covers an area of approximately 543square kilometers (excluding small islets.)

 

Thailand hasmuch to offer anyone. What brings visitors back here time and time again isundoubtedly the peaceful and joyous spirit of the Thai people. The DreamYacht base is located just fifteen minutes away from the airport at the “YachtHaven” marina, in the northeast part of Phuket.  (www.yacht-haven-phuket.com)  Here you will find local shops, with basicfood supplies, drinks and ice. Restaurants next to the marina will welcome youwith the real taste of Thai food. The “Living Room,” right on the docks, willprobably be your choice for the breakfast café-croissant.

Day 1

Welcome tothe base of Dream Yacht Thailand situated at Yacht Haven in the North East of Phuket.Board your Dream Yacht for the first night with orientation.

 

Day 2: 29 NM

From ourbase in Phuket we will sail to the south passing some of the most beautifulislands imaginable such as Koh Ka and Koh Racha Yaï where we will make anchorfor the evening, here you will get to enjoy the magnificent and splendid sunset(only between November to April).

 

Day 3 and 4:51 NM

We sailtowards Koh Rok-Nok; it will be our longest trip. Relax here for two days,swimming in beautiful crystal clear waters where you can also participate insome impressive snorkeling. The coral reef is exceptionally beautiful in thisplace surrounded by white sandy beaches.

Take a walkin nature where you will find superb views, encounter squirrels, and if you arereally lucky you might look upon the giant lizards.

 

Day 5: 16 NM

Anchor atKoh Ha Yaï, one of a small group of islands out in the ocean. With its cliffs juttingout into the sea you will find a beautiful white sandy beach that awaits yourarrival (only between November to April).

 

Day 6 and 7:20 NM

From Koh HaYaï, we will head towards Koh Pee-Pee which is classified as one of the three mostfamous islands of the world with its magnificent views and one of the mostbeautiful of beaches named Maya Bay (Anchor overnight at the Maya Bay fromNovember to April only).

 

Day 8: 19 NM

From KohPee-Pee, we will set sail to Ao Nang or Ralay, situated on the coast of Krabi.Stopover in Koh Kaï, where the low tide will enable you to walk from one islandto another. Outstanding beaches each one more beautiful than the other awaitsyou.

 

Day 9 and10: 40 NM

Excellentanchorages are to be found at the prestigious Phang Nga Bay. Secret lagoons,crystal clear waters together with the unspoiled beauty of this magical bay willbe an unforgettable end to your trip prior to sailing back to the base of DreamYacht Thailand. (Minimum stays 2 nights).

Day 1

Welcome tothe base of Dream Yacht Thailand at Yacht Haven in the North East of Phuket. Boardyour Dream Yacht for orientation and your first night.

 

Day 2: 10 NM

Departure willtake place from our base in Phuket with a sail to the majestic and magicalPhang Nga Bay where we will spend the evening.

 

Day 3: 20 NMmiles

In themorning we will set sail to one of the most famous groups of islands named KohHong where you will discover a selection of secluded beaches with idyllic viewsand timeless beauty.

 

Day 4: 11 NM

We set sailtowards the Koh Poda, then onto Koh Kai, where the low tide will enable you towalk from one island to another to explore their beauty. Enjoy the evening onyour Dream Yacht.

 

Day 5: 18 NM

After themarvelous day in Koh Kai, we now head towards Koh Pee. Pee is classified as oneof the three most beautiful islands in the world. With its stunning views andmost respected beaches, namely Maya Bay, where you can enjoy an unforgettablenight during the high season.

 

Day 6: 30 NM

After arelaxing evening at Koh Pee we set sail back to our base in Phuket. Sailingthrough the south where you will be able to enjoy the beauty of the manyislands that we pass on our way back.

 

Day 7

As yourDream Yacht vacation ends you will check out at our Thailand base in Phuket.

Day 1: KohRacha

Welcome tothe base of Dream Yacht Thailand situated at Yacht Haven in the North East ofPhuket and board your Dream Yacht for orientation and your first night.

 

Day 2: 29 NM

From ourbase in Phuket we will sail south past some of the world’s most beautiful andenchanting of islands such as the Koh Ka.Here we will spend the night on theKoh Racha Yaï which as an impressive anchorage, accompanied by a beautiful andsplendid sunset (only between November to April).

 

Day 3 and 4:27 NM

From KohRacha Yaï we will sail smoothly over to Koh pee-Pee.  Pee is one of the worlds finest of jewelsthat remain on earth today. It has exceptional views over the bay and amagnificent sunset for your enjoyment.

 

Day 5: 28 NMKoh Pee-Pee/Koh Lanta

 This is a short sailing trip to a villagewhere you will be able to purchase fresh products such as fruits, fish andvegetables.

 

Day 6: 12 NM

Anchor atKoh Muk (stopover at Koh N’Gai), an island of fishermen; here you will find a magnificentclosed cavern, that opens into a beautiful lagoon.

 

Day 7 and 8:16NM - Koh Muk /Koh Rok-Nok

Continue toanchor at Koh Muk and explore the island while swimming and enjoying thescenery.

 

Day 9: 16 NMKoh Rok-Nok/ Koh Ha yai

Set sail toKoh Rok-Nok-/ Koh Ha Yai, which is a small group of islands out in the ocean. Thereare cliffs jutting out into the sea and you will find a beautiful small whitesandy beach that awaits your arrival. It is absolute paradise (only betweenNovember to April).

 

Day 10: 20NM

We sail backto Koh Ha Yaï / Koh Pee-Pee to spend the night.

 

Day 11: 19NM Koh PEE-PEE/ Ao Nang – Koh Kaï

Set sail toKon Pee-Pee /Ao Nang or Ralay, situated on the coast of Krabi. Stopover in KohKaï, where the low tide will enable you to walk from one island to another.Outstanding beaches each one more beautiful than the other awaits you.

 

Day 12 and14: 40 NM

You willfind excellent anchorages at the prestigious Phang Nga Bay. Secret lagoons,crystal clear waters together with the unspoiled beauty of this magical baywill be an unforgettable end to your trip prior to sailing back to the base ofDream Yacht Thailand. (Minimum stays 2 nights).

The Similan Islandin 10 days

  

THE SIMILAN ISLANDSIN 10 DAYS

This trip isavailable from November to April. The islands are closed from May 1stto October 30th.

 

Day 1

Welcome tothe base of Dream Yacht Thailand situated at Yacht Haven in the North East ofPhuket. Board your Dream Yacht for orientation and your first night.

 

Day 2: 24 NM

Departingfrom our base in Phuket you will set sail to the south where you will spend thefirst night of your adventure at anchor in Naï Harn.

 

Day 3: 60 NM

You will besailing towards the magnificent and beautiful Similan Islands that areextremely well known. The most striking feature of these islands, at firstglance, are the huge boulders that line the western and southern shores onseveral of the islands. Another feature, are the white coral-sandy beaches,splendidly picturesque and often deserted.

The mostinteresting sights, however, are to be found beneath the waves. Some of themost spectacular coral growths in the world can be found here while snorkeling.

 

Day 4/7: 30NM

Reputed throughthe world for its snorkeling and diving, these islands, which consist of ninein the group, are a paradise that has been well preserved. Take your precioustime to discover all the hidden anchorages, the underwater world, lust forestin abundance and beautiful virgin beaches.

The rangershelp in the protection and breeding of tortoises and their eggs. The amateursof snorkeling will not be disappointed with all the different species of fishthey will encounter which resembles a natural aquarium.

 

Day 8/9: 84NM

We will setsail back to the south of Phuket returning on the same route as we sailed onday 2 of our cruise.

 

Day 10

As yourholiday with us is at an end you will check out at the Dream Yacht Thailandbase at Yacht Haven.

  

 

2 weeksItinerary: Surin and Similian Island

  

2 WEEKSITINERARY: SURIN AND SIMILAN ISLANDS

(Similan andSurin are closed from the (1st of May to 30th of October)

 

Day 1

Welcome tothe base of Dream Yacht Thailand at Yacht Haven in the North East of Phuket,with orientation and boarding of your Dream Yacht for the first night of thecruise.

 

Day 2: 24 NM

Departingfrom our base in Phuket you sail southwards.  You cannot sail north from Phuket as there isa bridge under which   you cannot pass. However, in sailing south youget to spend your first evening in the enchanting anchorage of Naï Harn.

 

Day 3: 44 NM

From NaiHarn you can sail northwards along the West coast oHarnf Phuket where you willfind plenty of idyllic anchorages for the night. We also recommend a stopoverat the well-protected bay of Thap Lamu.

 

Day 4: 33 NM

In themorning keep following the West coast to enter into the mangroves situated atthe level of the island Phra Thong in order to spend the night there. You willcertainly be all by yourself and experience the silence and serene solitudethat reigns around you.

 

Day 5: 18 NM

Sailingstraight westwards you will reach the islands of Surin. If you are a lover ofscuba diving you should pass close to the precious diving spot of “RichelieuRock”. It is one of the finest places in the world for diving with whalesharks.

 

Day 6 and 7:18 NM

The islandsof Surin offer a remarkable calmness. The reef merits your attention where youcan see turtles quite frequently. There is also a village in the channel,inhabited by the Sea gypsies called Mokens.

 

Day 8: 35 NM

As you headfurther south towards the islands of Similan. Take the occasion to stop on yourway at the islands of Ta Chaï and Bon (manta rays have often been observedhere).

 

Day 9 to 11:24 NM

Today youwill arrive at the magnificent islands of Similan, a real snorkeling paradise.Enjoy these nine islands of worldwide reputation and all their treasures.

The moststriking feature of these islands, at first glance, is the huge boulders thatline the western and southern shores on several of the islands. Anotherfeature, are the white coral-sandy beaches, splendidly picturesque and oftendeserted. The most interesting sights, however, are to be found beneath thewaves. Some of the most spectacular coral growths in the world can be found here.

 

Take thetime to discover the many hidden anchorages, hikes through the jungle andvirgin beaches where the rangers support the reproduction of turtles byprotecting their eggs.

 

Day 12 and13: 89 NM

Now is thetime to head back southwards to reach Phuket with a short stopover at the beachof Naï Harn as you did on your first day.

 

Day 14

As yourcruise has now ended it is time to check out at the Dream Yacht Thailand baseat Yacht Haven.

How to get there
By plane
International Airport of Phuket
Only a very few direct flights. Most of them are making 1 or 2 stops. (Kuala Lumpur or Bangkok)
Our office is located in the condominium part, overhanging marina and channel of Phang Nga Bay, and close to
swimming pool and fitness center. Ideal to begin pleasantly your staying.
Transfer
(15-20 mn between airport and base).

Services
At the base
On spot, small local shops are proposing food, beverages and ice.
Several local restaurants located around will please Thai food amateurs. On the docks, « Living Room » will
probably be your choice for breakfast, café croissant.

Malls
Supermarkets are 30 KM away form the base (Phuket town); all of them are located in the same area, LOTUS,
BIG C, & TOPS.

They are a lot of cyber-cafés almost everywhere. Mobile phone works very well, however it worth to buy a Thai
Sim card, about 300 Bahts (1 USD about 31 Bahts), it’s cheaper (you can call and be called without paying rooming.
