Tioman islocated off the East coast of Peninsular Malaysia. It is part of the TiomanMarine Park, which comprises a cluster of protected islands that became anational marine reserve in 1995. Although Tioman is the largest and mostdeveloped of these volcanic islands it is still relatively small, measuring just30 miles long and 9 miles wide.
The climateon the island is typically tropical, warm and humid all year round. While
life moves slowly on all tropical islands,many say that time decided to stop entirely on Tioman. How to get there By plane Berjaya Air operates daily direct 45-minutes flights to Tioman from Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
By sea Tioman is accessible by boat from Tanjung Gemok in Pahang and Mersing in Johor. Journey time isapproximately 1H30. It can also be reached by a 4-hour ferry ride from the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal in Singapore. Transfer Aéroport de Tioman close to the base - environ 10 min.
